Conspiracy:

During the anniversary party held at Carter and Babs’ mansion, Lois goes to the bathroom to change out of her bathing suit, and Joe accidentally walks in and gets an erection as she watches. He quickly leaves, but Bonnie later tells Lois that he was able to have sex with her for the first time in years. While doing chores, he notices her looking at her through the window, so he puts on a show, allowing him to regain an erection for Bonnie. But when she tries to turn on her charms for Peter that night, he is completely unimpressed. Returning from a run with Donna, Quagmire spies her performing for Joe again and tells Peter, who confronts Joe and punches him.

When Lois stands up as well, she points out that he had absolutely no interest in her, and he tells her that he doesn’t have any excitement for him anymore, but falls when he tries to give her a taste of her own medicine. When she returns to Joe, he tells her that he cannot continue his behavior with her because he is Peter’s best friend. When she seeks attention by dressing up as a nurse at a veterans hospital, she ends up getting arrested and finds Peter also arrested for his own deviant behavior. They both admit that even though there seem to be no secrets or surprises left for each other, there’s no one else they’d rather be with, as they bring home role-playing games to spice things up.

Meanwhile, it turns out that the anniversary present for Peter and Lois is a toy car instead of an expensive toy car, so Stewie gets it. He puts on an air about his car until he has to pick up a drunk Brian, who throws up all over himself. While cleaning, he complains to Chris about maintaining such a car. While riding with some of his stuffed animals, he is interrupted by a boy on a big bike who enjoys the simple life, causing him to crash into a telephone pole when he loses focus. Rupert is thrown from the car and Stewie tends to him until he decides he is okay. Stewie burns the remains of his car and files an insurance claim, but when the insurance adjuster has video evidence on the lap cam, he discovers that Stewie has evidence of his own wrongdoing and gets his check from him.

While Peter and Lois enjoy Seuss’s sexual fantasy, it turns out to be just a bedtime story that Chris made up for Stewie, who refuses to let him read any more of his own stories.
